When we came back from the beach, the room was still warm and water from the AC was still on the floor. It had been leaking from the bottom within minutes of our turning it on at check-in. We hoped the room would cool down while we were out, but that didn't happen. We put down a towel to keep the floor from getting wetter and called the front desk to report the problem. We asked if they could move us since there were lots of vacancies in our section, but nobody answered. By then we were tired and just wanted to shower and sleep. First impressions matter, and that one didn't help. If we stay there on another beach trip, this hotel will be at the very bottom of my list. We got our key card and went straight to the room when we checked in.

The staff were nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The pool was out of order, yet we still had to pay $20 for a wristband, plus a $100 refundable damage deposit on top of the stay. We arrived to find no shampoo or soap and only two towels. Find somewhere else without all these fees, even if the room costs more.

I brought my kids for Christmas Eve, and the front desk said horrible things about them. The staff were rude and showed no respect. This is not kid friendly. The rooms weren't something I want to complain about because people try to do their best, but management should choose better employees to represent the place. If children aren't welcome, put up a sign. I have videos showing how the employees acted. This was the last time I'll bring my kids here. It could be a pretty cool hotel with better service.

It's a cheap place for one night, especially in the off season, but I wouldn't recommend staying multiple nights. The room was clean, though older and faded, and the beds were hard as rocks. The blanket was so thin it barely counted as one. Wi-Fi was spotty, and the pool was closed indefinitely. Breakfast was just waffles you make yourself, oatmeal, and cereal. It's a Super 8.

Check-in was late because our room wasn't ready, and there was no discount for that or for the pool being closed during our stay. The place was gross. The rooms were very, very dirty, with stains on the bedding. We took a bunk bed room, but the kids won't sleep on the bunks because they look so dirty.
