The condo smelled of mold and dirt, and looked nothing like the photos. We had only one usable bed and a couch, unless we wanted to put a mattress on the floor. The second bedroom had no built-in AC, just a portable unit vented through the window. The microwave door was broken, the shades were torn, the sinks dripped, and the kitchen lights and bathroom fixtures were broken. It was a complete mess.

The online photos don’t show the actual rooms. Our room was dirty and smelled bad, the pillows were nasty, and the sofa bed I opened for the kids had cockroaches all around it. The curtains were broken, and there was no cable TV or antenna in the master room. The pool was dirty too. I complained to the owner the next day, but two days later he returned only $75 of my $250 deposit. He said I had left 12 minutes after 10 a.m., as stated in the contract, and argued that I’d left a McDonald’s bag in the kitchen. I’d already paid $180 in cleaning fees. This guy is a fraud. I really don’t recommend staying here.

We booked through Airbnb and found the apartment well managed. The condo is in a perfect spot, with the beach within walking distance through the dunes and everything close by.

The refrigerator was leaking, and it couldn’t be fixed until the next day. None of the TV remotes had batteries either. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

We were a family of eight and had a great three-day stay. The condo, pool, and bedding were all clean, and the beach was just a five-minute walk away.
