Antelope Canyon Inn

The room was clean and well cared for, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. We got a good room at a good price. Having an HBO movie channel on the TV was a nice extra. The location worked really well too, with a Safeway and several restaurants nearby, and an easy drive to Lake Powell and the hiking spots. I'd happily stay here again.

For an extended stay, the price is hard to beat, and the staff were fine. It's clean, though the building itself is old, so you get what you pay for. Our two double beds were a real contrast, one was extremely hard and the other super soft. The wifi was decent for the area but sometimes dropped in the morning. The laundry setup wasn't great either, though there are about two laundromats across the street. Definitely not a five-star hotel, but I can't complain much.

We slept well because it was quiet and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. I also like having a private door directly outside, instead of dealing with noisy, rude people in a hotel hallway all night. It's a small place tucked out of the way that plenty of people seem to miss. There was no breakfast because of covid, which seemed silly. They should just feed their guests. Still, it's a nice place and you'd probably like it.

It looked nice when I first walked in, and the inside is a bit better than the run-down exterior. But the room doesn't have the kitchen they claim, and the price isn't worth it. The air conditioner was useless even though it wasn't especially hot outside, and the room stayed hot all night whether I ran it or opened the window. There was no phone, clock, or coffee maker. The microwave clock wasn't set, and the microwave made a strange scratching sound when I used it. The remote batteries were nearly dead, the bathroom was tiny, the light switches were confusing, and only one light worked. There's a lot of choice in town, so I'd stay somewhere else.
