We were told there was no A/C, just a box fan, when we arrived to a room that was about 90°. The shabby room was small, and there wasn't an outlet close enough to the window to put the fan there, so we couldn't get the hot air out even after it cooled down at night. When I asked for a second fan, the staff member was super condescending and said, "Nobody here in Colorado has A/C, you'd know that if you were from here." I've lived in Colorado my whole life, bud. We got fed up, found another hotel, and tried to cancel the second night. They refused to refund it, even though we gave 24 hours' notice. Overall, a crap place, and not even the cheapest in town.

I was charged twice on August 2 and 3 2015 and still hadn't been reimbursed by October 8th. They won't return my calls or give me a real answer, just saying the refund will arrive in 7-10 business days. I filed a complaint through the BBB to see if they'll make it right. I wouldn't recommend Sky View Motel unless you pay cash and don't give them your credit card number.

There was animal poop on the floor when we walked into the absolutely gross, unclean room. When I went to complain, the person had to put away their "smoking piece" before listening to me.

I hated it. The room had no phone or heat, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut. The floors squeaked, the place smelled strongly of smoke, and about a quarter of the shower was spray-painted black for some reason. It was horrible and expensive. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
