We stayed for two weeks while our fire crew was on a preposition assignment, and Hotel Soco was great from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and by the end it felt like we were family. Their “Good Vibes” motto really fits. The rooms were cozy and clean, the location was great, and there was no shortage of hospitality or good times. They even hosted a barbecue for our whole crew of 21 and asked for nothing in return. The owner and staff are just great people. If you're after a comfortable place with good food, live music, and games, this is the spot.

The live music drew me in, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nicely decorated my room was. The food is delicious too, especially the wagu burger. Everyone on staff whom I've met has been welcoming, and the atmosphere makes for a great stay. Deborah and Colin are exceptionally hospitable hosts who really know the business. At Motel SOCO you feel at home, like you're meeting up with old friends. It's the best motel ever, reasonably priced and good value for the money. I won't regret coming back, and I definitely will!

I've stayed at SOCO for each of my last three winter snowboarding trips to Pagosa, and I've enjoyed it every time. It's very convenient to downtown, and the rooms are clean and comfortable with a fun mountain feel. The El Camino lounge on site has reasonably priced bar food and drinks that are well done. There were some great music acts while I was there, and I enjoyed spending time with the friendly staff and locals. Check out SOCO for a Pagosa or Wolf Creek trip. I can't wait to visit in warmer weather, and I'll definitely stay again.

We planned to stay for three nights, but liked it so much that we stayed five. The location between the hot springs and Walmart is great, and the live music and atmosphere were amazing. Everyone was so nice, and the room felt welcoming and comfortable. My one dog was no problem, and the showers were hot. This was exactly the vacation I needed. We'll be back, and I'd suggest staying here.

The staff and owner made us feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable, the showers hot, and the updated rooms had a cozy mountain feel. The restaurant and bar were cozy too, and we caught some live music while we were there. It's close to town, shopping, bars, and restaurants, and just a short drive to the mountain. A great place for a few days away, and I'd highly recommend it!
