Villa Rosa Motel

There’s a store right across the street for quick needs, and the price felt very reasonable for the quality. I had a standard king room, and the all-tile shower was amazing, no insert. The room was newly renovated, and the service was friendly and succinct. I recommend this motel and would stay again.

We found it affordable and clean, which was all we needed. It’s a no-frills hotel, but our stay was enjoyable: quiet and well kept, and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Maybe a bedside lamp would help. We’ll be back next year.

If you need an affordable, no-frills place, this is it. The room was updated and clean, and it was cozy, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I’ll stay again when passing through.

We arrived well after check-in time, even though we’d booked well in advance, and our room still wasn’t ready. After driving five hours, we had little time to get ready for an event, so we asked for a room as soon as possible. They gave us a different room, which was fine, and I made clear we didn’t want to pay extra since our booked room wasn’t ready. The woman snapped at me and yelled that she’d never said we would pay more. She gave us the key to a ready room, and we got ready and left for the concert. Then her husband called and said we had to return for our things because they were kicking us out. I’d never heard of that happening. He said they were calling the booking company, and I told him I was calling the police. We went back and collected our stuff. I called the booking company to check we wouldn’t be charged, then booked elsewhere. The police never showed anyway. I asked the man to watch a video of us checking in so he could see we didn’t deserve to be kicked out, but he refused. He barely engaged in any conversation with us. I travel a ton and have never had an experience like this. If you book here, have a backup plan and be careful to act like a robot at check-in, because anything they misconstrue as rude could get you kicked out.
