We only stayed one night, and the hotel itself was nice and very clean. But we kept encountering a very strong skunk weed smell on the second floor as we went to and from our room. It lasted all night and into the morning, making those trips unpleasant. I told the front desk, and they just said it was terrible. Staff even pointed to the no smoking sign when I said it wasn't being enforced. I thought they should've offered another room, a discount, or something. When I checked in, I asked whether they'd match the rate on their website, about $50 less than my reservation, but they refused. The night cost $280 in Palatka! I understand I had a previous unpaid reservation, but honoring the lower rate might've kept me as a future customer. We usually stay with a competitor, but thought we'd try this chain. A terrible first experience.

We booked here for springbreak, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The service was horrible, and the place needs major upgrades. They're very greedy, and we believe we were stolen from.

It's a good, quiet place to stay, with good rooms, hot water, and a secure property. Not the cheapest in town, but probably the safest and most secure. We'll be back.

I checked in late, around 11pm, and the woman at the desk was very slow. The elevator and hallways were dirty. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and in the shower/tub. It was so late that I just wanted to sleep, and figured I could shower at home the next day. Switching rooms felt like too much trouble. See photo, I don't exaggerate. In response to owner, holiday day express Palatka Florida, next to vystar credit union and Lowe’s. My room was on the 2nd floor.
