The breakfast hit the spot: eggs, sausage, seasoned potatoes, plus pancakes, and I left full. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the A/C got so cold I had to turn it up. We needed a room at the last minute and Holiday Inn came through. We were welcomed with a smile and got help finding dinner nearby. The lit parking lot felt secure. I’m an IHG member and stay at Holiday Inn’s often; this one is very nice.

The spa was over-chlorinated, though we only stayed one night, so I can’t tell if that’s an ongoing thing or a one-off. Otherwise, the room was good with no issues, and the daytime staff were friendly. It’s clean, affordable, family friendly, and met acceptable standards for what we expected. Breakfast was adequate, too.

Big rigs are covered here, with room to park the truck, which was a real blessing. The rooms were super nice and the shower felt great. An alarm someone had set woke me at 12:09am, but I unplugged it and drifted back off, no big deal. Just wish there were more places to eat close by: the BBQ spot across the road closed at 6, and I pulled in at 6:20. If you’re in the area with a big rig, this place has you covered.

Mary at the front desk is a pleasure to deal with, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed here plenty of times and will definitely be back.
