We were close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, and the room was roomy enough and nice. I stayed for a weekend last month, in Feb 2026. Things were fine until I spotted a HUGE roach in the bathroom at 4 in the morning. Help did come and take care of it, thankfully, but I was uneasy after that. As a Marriott member, I've never had that happen before, and I don't think I'd stay here again.

The breakfast was great, and the front desk staff pitching in to clear up afterward were really kind and fun. The hotel itself was nice, but housekeeping was frustrating. They came in while my sister was alone, then left without cleaning. The next day we tried to stay out of the room so it could be serviced, but when we returned at 4 pm the trash was still full and nothing had been cleaned. We’d also seen staff hanging around on their phones during the day. The coffee machine was broken when we arrived, and the Wi-Fi was so poor that nothing we tried to watch on the TV would load.

The place was clean, reasonably priced, and a short walk from some decent restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff and the usual breakfast included. I’d stay again. It was a memorable trip, partly because I lost my phone at Newark Airport. An honest traveler handed it to TSA, and I got it back after returning to NJ. The United Airlines staff in W. Palm helped me contact the people I was visiting and gave me the Newark TSA contact info. I was impressed by the help from United and Fairfield huh Inn. A lesson learned: bring important contact details on paper when you travel. I hadn’t realized how stranded I’d feel without my phone.

I checked in, but the room didn’t look like the photos or description on Booking.com. It smelled unpleasant, and the window wouldn’t open. I asked to switch rooms, but the second one had the same problems, so I left right away without staying the night. The hotel wouldn’t engage with my complaint beyond pointing to its cancellation policy. They also haven’t returned my 50 USD deposit or replied to me. No communication at all. I guess I’ve spent 300 USD that I’ll never get back, and had to pay another 300 USD for a different hotel so I could sleep somewhere else.
