Ms Lisa and Ms Victoria greeted us like they'd been waiting their whole lives for us to arrive. It felt like coming home, and the rooms are VERY clean too. Looking forward to trying the breakfast everyone's mentioned in past reviews. 10/10, highly recommend!

We stayed here for the first time for the Daytona 500 and would come back. The bed was comfy, and room (214) had plenty of room for activities. At first glance the free breakfast didn't look like much, but the food was better than I expected. There was fruit like bananas and apples, boiled eggs, oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, and a waffle maker. For hot food there were sausage patties, mini omelettes, and things labeled “bagel toppers,” which I think were half bagels with cheese, maybe egg, and so on. I put a sausage patty and mini omelette on one topper and ate it all together. Not bad!

Jan 2026. The room was spacious, with a comfortable enough bed, adequate furniture, and a kitchenette stocked nicely. But it needs updating. We had to ask for fresh towels, and the carpets should be replaced. After using the sink, its pipe gurgled for several minutes. The bathroom fan churned loudly, and the outlet night light reflected in the mirror directly onto the bed, right in your face while trying to sleep. The staff were friendly.

I've stayed at enough Hampton Inns and hotels in the same chain to know this one has fallen below the usual standard. We used to come periodically when visiting family, but this location has been going downhill since early last year. The area already has plenty of panhandlers and homeless people. On this visit, about half the parking lot lights didn't work at night. During this visit and our previous one, staff kept feeding feral cats behind the pool. The dryer system filters have apparently never been replaced, and the open system blows lint and other laundry byproducts onto the ground. Ladders and equipment were left in the back flower beds. In our room, the seating upholstery and floors had various unpleasant stains, as did the hallways. Paint is showing its age in busy areas. There were abandoned bicycles in the rack, with flat tires and unmoved for all three days we were there. Also, if the lights on the flags aren't working, staff should take the flags down at night. Flags should only fly after dark when illuminated. We'll probably choose another hotel next time we visit family.
