Casa Larrea Inn

We were in Palm Desert for the Coachella festival and were delighted with this place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lovely vintage decor, and the facilities are fantastic. It’s peaceful and relaxing, and the hostess was attentive, friendly, thoughtful, and brilliant. I especially appreciated the relaxing pool and breakfast. It felt like eating at home, very cozy, with everything we needed to start the day. We’ll definitely come back. Don’t hesitate to visit this beautiful house.

Kim was accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. The property is beautiful, with mountain views in the background, and the AC was a huge help in 100 degree heat. It cost significantly less than the hotels on the Coachella shuttle route. My friends were camping at Coachella and said they would have traded places with me. I had a fantastic stay.

This isn’t one of the usual mainstream hotels, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s quiet and relaxing, with great rooms, great service, and an exceptional breakfast. The location also works well for local amenities. We stayed just a couple of nights, but the place was so nice we could easily have spent more time at the hotel. If we’re back in the area, we’ll check whether it’s available.

Kim, the owner, is warm and welcoming and bends over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. This is a quaint, quiet little gem, with clean, well-appointed rooms. Breakfast is included and there’s a wide range of choices, including hot home-cooked food. It’s a feast, nothing like the usual old continental breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay.
