The noisy AC was the one thing that kept waking me through the night, but I’d turn over and get back to sleep. Otherwise, we got what I expected for the price. The room was clean, the service was good, and I like supporting a local business. It’s not a Marriott, so come with the right expectations. Money well spent for me.

This is an old motel, but that’s part of why I love it. It’s a classic midcentury place from the 50s, tucked into a beautiful, peaceful space. The rooms are very clean, smell lovely, and have all the little things you’d want. It’s right on the main drag, about five minutes from everywhere, and the price was so good I stayed an extra day. The people running it are kind, friendly, and helpful. They even went out of their way to help me get my things from the car and settled in. If you’re young and needy, this may not be your place. But if you like the beauty of old motels, 50s pools, and quiet spots close to everything in Palm Springs, while saving money and your sanity, you’ll like it.

The best part of my affordable, clean stay at centrally located Adara was how kind Bela and the gentleman were. She was friendly, gave me food recommendations, and helped me out when I had a travel mishap. The mountain views were lovely, and it’s close to Indian canyon. Thanks for such a genuine, kind experience. I’ll be back!

The pool and spa were decent, with a nice 60s Palm Springs feel. The rooms were clean, neat, and decorated in a contemporary style. For a two-star hotel, I thought it was good value. One thing to know if you’re visiting in summer: the air-conditioning is only in the main sleeping area, not the sitting area or bathroom.

The pictures and reviews don’t show what this motel is really like. As soon as we walked into the room, we saw lizards and found stains, broken glass, long hairs, and a cigarette smell. I wouldn’t recommend it.
