Avanti Hotel

I loved the layout, with the rooms arranged around the pool. At night, glowing big cubes lit the water, and there was a nice outdoor fire. The details made for a perfect atmosphere. The hotel was dog-friendly, had no kids, and the staff were amazing. The rooms had beautiful dark wood floors and lots of snacks. Breakfast was one of the best continental hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The rental bikes were great too.

Jim, the host, was super friendly and helpful, and had great tips. Don’t miss the tasty free cocktail at poolside happy hour. It’s small and cozy, but has all the details you need: a nice pool in a beautifully planted outdoor common area, even with a patio misting system. In the room there was AC, a ceiling fan, TV, fridge, and microwave, plus a beautiful clean bathroom with an awesome rain shower.

The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff were great. The room itself wasn’t very comfortable apart from the bed, though that might not matter if you visit when the weather is good for spending time at the beautiful pool. It rained one morning, so there was no poolside breakfast, but the manager gave us vouchers for a nearby restaurant. The hot tub was broken for three days. Otherwise, I would’ve given the place four stars.

A little slice of paradise, and I’d give it six stars if I could. The pool is wonderfully refreshing in the desert sun, and the hot tub is great at night. Happy hour at 5 is a must, with homemade ice cream and margaritas. We’ll definitely return. Pro tip: book by calling direct.
