V Palm Springs

I had a bad stay and won't be coming back. Nearly a month ahead, I booked two rooms and asked for them to be next to each other. I was assured they would be, but when we arrived they were a whole building apart. The rooms also weren't very clean. One chair was really dirty, and the sheets had stains. We got back from dinner around 10 PM and asked the front desk to turn on the fireplace, which was meant to stay open until midnight. They said the propane had run out and they couldn't start it. It was just a bad experience.

We only had one night here, but I’d happily book a longer stay next time. The room was tidy, with lovely decor, a cozy bed, and a view over the pool. I especially liked relaxing in the hanging chair on the private porch. Dinner and breakfast at Gigi were both very good, and the staff were friendly. The portions were just right.

The pool and location were both nice, and the room was clean. For the price, it was a decent place to stay. We did run into a couple of inconveniences, though: there was only one lamp, and several outlets didn’t work, which was a hassle with multiple people sharing the room.

I wasn’t sure what to make of some of the negative reviews, because our stay was really good. The renovated rooms were lovely and clean, and it was extremely quiet. We liked the pool too. I’d stay here again.
