We left after about five hours because of the noise and the way the hotel handled it. At check-in, we asked for a quiet room. Marcell at the front desk assured us this was a business hotel, usually quiet because it catered to low-key business travelers. Instead, more and more very young guests, many of whom clearly seemed underage, showed up with cases of beer and other alcohol. Parties broke out on different floors, with people spilling into the halls and balconies and disturbing guests. They were drinking and partying in the hotel hallways. We called Marcel, who said there was nothing he could do because guests could make as much noise as they wanted and the hotel could do nothing until 10:00 PM. He said he'd just learned about the parties and hadn't known they were happening when we checked in. At checkout, we asked again whether that was his story, but he wouldn't answer yes or no. We also tried to confirm we wouldn't be charged, and Marcel told us we'd most certainly be charged for the stay we were leaving. Moving us to another room wouldn't have helped, with guests' sliders open, music playing, and people drinking and partying without regard for those who came to sleep and rest. Marcel seemed not to care and clearly wasn't interested in keeping control of the property he'd been entrusted with. I found him very slippery, and felt he flat-out lied when the situation called for it. We were told nobody above him was available and someone would take our call on Monday. Luckily, the Triada in Palm Springs was a short drive away and took good care of us as a Bonvoy member. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

If you want peace and quiet, skip this place. Calls for people not registered to your room can come through at all hours. My wife and I were woken at 3:30am by a call for Mr. Paul Feinbaum, who I believe is a US Senator or something, but wasn't registered in our room. The front desk made an obvious mistake, and Manager Mario didn't make it right, not even with a complimentary breakfast. There's also a flashing green light from the smoke detector right above the bed, like a disco strobe. It's not worth the $$$ for you or your employees.

Drunken teen frat members were partying in the hallway, blocking and harassing us as we tried to get between the elevator and our room. Marcell at the front desk was the only manager available and claimed he couldn't do anything until 10pm. He showed no concern that we'd been harassed or that the hotel had turned into a frat party rager. We left, and he assured us with a smug, sinister twist of his mouth that we WOULD be charged for the night anyway. He should be fired for incompetence and for willfully violating the hotel and chain's responsibility and code of conduct around providing a safe, quiet place to rest. Innkeepers have a legal duty to give guests a peaceful environment, including managing excessive noise from other guests or other sources.

It's conveniently close to the convention center, and downtown is walkable if it's not 100 degrees. The bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. Expensive for what it is.
