Hotel California - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

The rooms could use a bit of updating. They’re kind of bland, and the TV is tiny with no streaming services. That wasn’t a big deal for us since we spent most of our time at the heated pool and great jacuzzi. The poolside atmosphere is beautiful and romantic. The staff are amazing, and the room had snacks and drinks like soda and water waiting for us. There’s a popcorn machine outside and a shared kitchen with fresh coffee. I’d definitely recommend the place and come back, especially for a romantic getaway where you want to be treated well.

The nighttime atmosphere was beautiful, and we made use of the bikes on site. Breakfast was casual self-service in the morning, and it was nice having the whole kitchen available. The hummingbirds were beautiful too. Staff were warm, very friendly, and attentive. Corbin was especially helpful and made sure we were happy. The rooms could use a little care and more personality, though. The pool was a bit dirty, and the spa’s deteriorating concrete wasn’t comfortable to sit on. Overall, a great stay, though the property could use a facelift.

We spent about half our trip happily hanging out in the lovely courtyard by the pool. I really appreciated the little details, from the fully stocked kitchen to the pool supplies and snacks. You can tell they take care of you here in a way I haven’t really experienced at a hotel before. The staff were so welcoming and friendly that we felt at home right away. We loved it and are already planning to come back. Book this place!

I was glad I picked this hotel over the Best Western at Las Brisas after I missed a connection and needed somewhere to spend the night. The rooms were roomy and clean, with little noise from outside and good blackout curtains. The location isn’t the best, but they provide bikes, and downtown is a 15-minute ride away. Some breakfast is included too. I’d definitely stay again.
