Motel 6 Palm Springs, CA - East - Palm Canyon

I’ve stayed here with my two kids and have been treated so well. Juan, the manager, made me feel safe and looked after. The maids keep the rooms very clean and neat, and have always made us comfortable. Everyone has been friendly and good with my kids, which means a lot to me as a parent. Matteo keeps an eye on the hotel and does what he should to help guests feel safe. Amber has also been really helpful to my family and provides great customer service. I appreciate how we’ve all been treated. I’ll keep choosing this motel over the others. Thanks for having us!

The hotel is tucked away but close enough to downtown to feel cozy without being right in the middle of Palm Springs. Caleb made check-in easy, and the room was wonderful, though a blow dryer would be useful. It wasn’t spotless, and there were a few small cleanliness issues. Bugs are probably inevitable with the desert and seasonal changes, so I don’t blame the property for that. Shampoo and conditioner would also help travelers like me who forget them. Even with the little issues, I’ve never felt more welcomed or appreciated as a guest at a Motel 6. I had several stressful things going on, and the staff made a real difference. AMBER COLEMAN, who seemed to be the front desk manager, was handling a lot at once effortlessly. CALEB at the front desk and KIM were also great. Everyone in HR should know how kind, efficient, and focused on hospitality they are. They got check-ins done quickly and tailored service to what guests needed, while taking time to make the stay better. Thanks, guys!

The rooms are basic but clean, with fresh linens and towels, and the location is great for getting to food or entertainment. It’s central and easy to reach what I need. The staff were wonderful. Night manager Kim went above and beyond to get us checked in, make sure the reservation was right, and help us feel at home. I travel with a service animal, and her being there wasn’t an issue. There were plenty of safe places for dogs to play and run, and they made her feel at home too. Affordable and convenient, with last-minute deals and weekly rates. I’d recommend this place if you’re in the area.

We were in town for a funeral and didn’t realize a large tennis tournament and art exhibition were happening at the same time. Finding a hotel was incredibly difficult because most were booked or overpriced with all the visitors, and even this motel raised its weekend rates. That wasn’t the main problem, though. Our room smelled like raw sewage, and they couldn’t move us to another one. We bought air freshener to cover the odor and Clorox wipes to clean everything. The floors were sticky, the bed was lumpy and I could feel the springs, and there was hair in the sink and on the shower walls. I strongly suggest staying elsewhere.
