Sparrows Lodge

114/10. Staying at Sparrows Lodge was unforgettable, and I'd definitely come back. It's quiet and cozy, surrounded by beautiful plants. We had an accessible Garden room that was spacious and relaxing. The shower area is open to the bathroom with no door, and there's no bathtub. The king bed was a little too soft for me. The lobby is in the middle of the lodge and also serves breakfast. I really liked the meal, especially the banana cake, which you have to try. There's a pool and jacuzzi, and sometimes the staff bring melon treats. Stay hydrated! There is also a massage tent in the backyard and a campfire spot for S'mores at night.

The rooms were clean and had private outdoor spaces, and we really liked the quaint feel, friendly staff, and location. We only tried appetizers and desserts, but both were fantastic, and the food was great. It's easy to understand why Sparrow's Lodge has been awarded a MICHELIN. Hope I can return one day.

The photos undersell the place. It felt more luxurious than I expected, with a mid-century Palm Springs feel rather than a kitschy one. We had a comfortable bed, welcome drinks, and mountain views from the pool, which along with the jacuzzi stays open late. There were s'mores kits for the fire at night, and dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious with a great atmosphere. Breakfast was simple but had all the basics: English muffins, fruit, yogurt, and granola. It's close to the main part of town. I'd stay again and recommend it.

Dinner under the trees, seafood for both of us, was just great. We started the day outside with a delicious continental breakfast, and the visit as a whole was a joy. The setting is tranquil and romantic, with a gorgeous pool, firepits, and lovely outdoor seating. The staff were terrific, attentive and friendly without being too much. Highly recommend Sparrow's.
