The Westcott

The complimentary happy hour and vegetarian breakfast were my favorite parts. Matthew was thoughtful, kind, and generous, and welcomed our dogs. When we needed to extend at the last minute, he made it happen. We had a magical stay at the Wescott and can't wait to return. The rooms were spotless, and the outdoor space was gorgeous with plenty of places to sit. The Westcott is our new long weekend go-to!

All the little holiday details added a bit of magic, and we'd happily come back next time we're in Palm Springs. The hotel has such a sweet feel, with a thoughtful layout, snacks, and attentive staff. There are cozy little corners for reading, relaxing, or having a meal. It's somewhere to enjoy spending time, not just crash after a long day.

Mathew clearly cares a lot about running this place, and you can see that everywhere. Our two night stay was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I believe they all open straight onto the pool area. There are plenty of loungers, with cocktail hour at 5:30. Breakfast had fresh fruit, poached eggs, pastries, tea, and coffee, and snacks were out all day. Canned cocktails were available to buy. It's adults only, so there aren't kids disrupting the atmosphere. We hope to return!

Breakfast was delicious, and the poolside happy hour was a lovely touch. It got people chatting and made the stay feel more like visiting a friend's home than being at a hotel. Matt and his team were welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating. The property has a few minor blemishes, but it's got a great feel and was much closer to perfect than I expected. The location is central, and the place is quiet, charming, quirky in a stylish way, clean, and good value. The rooms had soft, beautiful linens and very comfortable beds. We found it by accident and hope to return to PS and stay at Matt's lovely property. I'd recommend it without hesitation.
