The staff were helpful across the board, from the front desk and bar to the restaurant. After we'd eaten breakfast there for two days and wanted to try somewhere else, the restaurant and bar hostess even helped us find an outside breakfast place. The food and drinks were wonderful, and the bar is one of my favorites in any hotel: spacious, beautiful, and quick with drinks. Thompson Hotels have style and decor that beat most places at the same price, with modern art and beautiful rooms. I usually choose competing five star hotels, but now I always check for a Thompson. It's as lovely as those big luxury hotels for at least half the price. Both times we've stayed at Thompson, the hotels were in lively areas with lots of dining options. They've thought through every detail, from the doorknobs to the shower fixtures. Everything felt luxurious.

We used to love The Perch. In the two months we've been in the desert, we'd gone at least six, seven, maybe eight times and brought friends and family. We liked the atmosphere and view, and especially the appetizers. The hummus with lamb bacon was amazing. Tonight we found out that dish is no longer on the menu, so we won't be going back or telling others to visit. They had a good thing and spoiled it. The tables were also covered with empty glasses and dishes, and staff seemed short handed. We had to clear and wipe our own table. Things need to improve.

Greg from customer service and Pavel, the director of rooms, did more for us than I can put into words. I checked in with my mother, who has mobility issues, and we'd booked an accessible suite. When they saw us, they upgraded us to a larger room they thought would work better. We asked for a toilet chair to help my mother, and when they realized the hotel didn't have one, they went out and bought one. Neither of us has ever received such good service or hospitality. The hotel is fantastic, the pool is beautiful, and the food is amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone, with more than five stars. Greg and Pavel aren't just great at their jobs, they're genuinely great people. The Thompson is lucky to have them. Highly recommend!

Lola Rose was a great experience. I had an amazing drink and dinner, and the front desk, valets, and car service were all friendly and helpful. My room was nice, but really loud. The building seems to have lightweight construction and little to no soundproofing, so I needed earplugs to sleep. Luckily, I know to travel with them. It's a nice hotel, and the staff are what make it work. I prefer quieter places, so I wouldn't stay again unless they have quieter rooms.
