The courtyard was a real plus, a nice place to get some air or relax in the evening. There was also a small pool and a fitness center, though I didn't get a chance to use either. The hotel is handy for restaurants and shopping, and far enough from the highway to stay quiet. I heard some noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms, but it didn't keep me awake. I was in Palmdale for a couple of work days, and check-in was quick, with welcoming, efficient staff. The lobby looked clean and modern. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and pillows, a mini-fridge, microwave, and a useful desk for working. It was a solid stay at the Courtyard by Marriott.

The room had a comfortable couch and a clean bathroom. At night the hotel is locked and secure, which kept things calm and cozy. It's surrounded by fast-food places and markets, and even a late trip to Walmart for medicine is convenient. Don't be confused by “UTVA”, this is a Courtyard Marriott. A solid option if you're staying in Palmdale.

The place felt really clean and safe when I stayed Saturday night, and I'd happily come back. I only wish breakfast were included. Otherwise, it was a super clean, safe environment.

There were no bedbugs. We stayed in room 214, where a vibration shook the floor and cabinet through the first night and kept us awake. We don't know what caused it. On the second night it didn't go on all night, but we heard it a couple of times. The shower had no setting besides scalding hot, and there was a hair in it. The fridge has a two-hour timer, which seemed odd. The housekeeping staff were kind and helpful as we were leaving.

Cori and Lety at the front desk were kind and really helpful. I had an evening event on my last day, and they generously let me check out at 4pm. I'm glad I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Palmdale.
