Pine Tree Inn and Bakery

The bed was comfy, and that jetted tub was great to soak in. It’s out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. Bring your own USB plug since there aren’t any USB ports, and don’t expect an alarm clock. Breakfast is at 7:30. Early workers can get a breakfast sandwich; otherwise, there’s a home-cooked breakfast that I’d imagine is really good. No diet drinks, either.

Panaca has a quiet, cozy, safe feel, with kids riding bikes around town like it’s another era. We stayed at this lovely B&B earlier this month while visiting Cathedral Gorge, and had a great experience. The house was spotless but still felt lived-in and comfortable, so it was easy to relax. Sydney was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and you can tell she cares about what she does. Seeing her run everything with 5 kids was genuinely heartwarming and impressive. I’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re going to Cathedral Gorge.

The complimentary breakfast was good and substantial, and the owner was very nice and helpful. The refurbished old home was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our visit. It’s only 5 minutes from Cathedral Gorge, so it’s a perfect place to stay when visiting the park. Two thumbs up!

Sydney was easy to communicate with and served up a delicious, filling breakfast. We stayed in the cabin, a wonderful and very comfortable place, well stocked for cooking and making meals. She was an exceptional host.
