Panaca is a relaxed, friendly, safe little town. Even the neighbors across the street were welcoming and kind, which tells you a lot. At Swallow Cove, Jenny made check-in easy, parking was simple, and everything felt looked after. The stay went smoothly from beginning to end. Breakfast was fantastic, thanks to Sydney from the neighboring b&b, and really added to the experience. If you’re headed to Cathedral Gorge, Swallow Cove and the neighboring Twin Pine B&B are both wonderful options. Highly recommend.

The host welcomed us and showed us around. Our room was clean, and that king sized bed was so comfy. Breakfast was delicious and felt homemade, not like the usual prepackaged motel or hotel food. It’s a nice little gem tucked away in the back, very homey. One of our best stays, and we’ll definitely stay here again.

Swallow Cove is charming and extremely comfortable, with clean, spacious rooms. The location is really quiet, too. If you need a place to stay in the country, look no further. Highly recommended!

Jenny makes the best homemade breakfast. We had a wonderful overnight stay while driving cross country. The Spring room had a big bedroom and a large bathroom, and the house felt clean and safe. I’ll definitely use this place as a jumping point for local attractions in the future.

I recommend making the check-in call from a more populated area on the day you arrive. You have to check in by phone, and after dark I couldn’t get cell service with Mint. I think Verizon may work, but I’m not sure. I had to go back to the highway, where a very kind person at the service station let me use his landline. Once I got checked in, everything went smoothly. Breakfast the next morning at the sister property was very good. I was comfortable in my private room and bath in November 2024, with the kitchen as a shared space. It’s a very nice option in this out-of-the-way area, where there aren’t many places to stay.
