1313 Origin at Seahaven

The two women on the security team were wonderful throughout our trip, pleasant and helpful. My check-in with Andrea at the CS front desk was the opposite. After a personal phone conversation, she made eye contact, rolled her eyes, put her head down, and asked how she could help. It felt like I'd interrupted her call, especially when her tone changed after she noticed me waiting. We had driven from Ohio and arrived right at check-in, excited to start our stay, but she told me the room wasn't ready and was still dirty. She tossed me the welcome packet and said I'd get a text when I could self check in. I chose Origin after researching more than 100 places because of its amenities, but Andrea wouldn't explain the packet and just told me to read it. I didn't know where to park or that I needed a code until I reminded her this was my first stay and I had questions. Her attitude was surprisingly negative for our first stop in FL. I'm glad my son and wife didn't witness it since I went in alone. We made the most of the trip, and luckily didn't see her again. Andrea needs to learn how to greet and treat Origin guests.

Our condo was beautiful, the staff were friendly, the facilities clean, and getting to the beach was easy. But the pool was the whole reason my husband and I picked Origin for our 24th anniversary. The ad said it would be 85 degrees seven days a week, and it was nowhere near that. We knew the ocean would be too cold for swimming and wanted a warm pool because we're pool people. Two different maintenance men said they were trying to fix a coil or something, but it never warmed up during our stay. To me, advertising it that way is false, and they should remove that claim. We found other things to do, but it wasn't the vacation we wanted. THE POOL!!

The Property Management Staff were the best, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. There are views, private beach access, and spots to watch both sunrise and sunset. On site there's a heated pool, hot tub, private movie theater, workout room, laundry, arcade, shops, and Starbucks. This place has it all.

My wife, our two kids, and I are meant to be here for a week, and the stay is already turning unpleasant. Less than 72 hours in, today, May 31, 2026, we're having trouble with the AC. I booked the unit back in February. Since 74°F apparently doesn't count as an emergency, the technician can't come until tomorrow. I think they should have the decency to move us to another unit, with or without compensation. The way this is being handled feels highly disrespectful, like they have no interest in our comfort. —RGC
