My grandma paid for a three-bedroom condo on the 15th floor, but she's now back in the building on the second floor with construction going on around her. All we hear is beeping, sawing, and hammering. They shouldn't have moved her back in while this work is happening, especially when owners of other condos were told they couldn't return yet. This was my first visit, and it might be my last. The railings in Tower 3 failed inspection, so everyone had to relocate, even though the building is at most five years old. I'm thinking it could be June before they fix the violations. If you have a trip planned here, cancel it. Right now it isn't worth it. If they do something because of this post, I'll update it for customer service purposes.
Everything else was amazing, and I'd recommend staying here without hesitation. The wristband checks felt ridiculous, though. The pools weren't crowded, there were maybe 15 people there, and a guy still came over and kicked people out.
I was glad I picked Calypso Resort for my time in Panama. It's a nice hotel, nothing over the top, but still pleasant.
Not very kid-friendly. The pool was really cold, and the only pool you can use is in the third building.
We stayed a couple of nights for the air show and had an amazing time.
