Comfort Inn & Suites Panama City Beach - Pier Park Area

Tiahna made us feel at ease the whole time. She was friendly, knew her stuff, and took great care of us, which made the visit really pleasant. We highly recommend her!

The room was basic, but clean, quiet, and ready when I arrived. All the facilities worked, and the rate was good for the area. Panama City Beach and Laguna Beach are both amazingly close for the price. The downside was the staff, who weren't very responsive at check-in even though the lobby wasn't busy. Quality: 4. Value for cost and location: 5.

Sidonie was the receptionist I liked dealing with most. She seemed friendlier and more accommodating than the others, some of whom had an attitude. The hotel was clean and nice, and the room was small but still very nice. Noise from the next room came through, and there were problems with the sink drain. I'd stay again if the price came down a bit. 👍

The bed was comfortable, but the kids weren't happy about sleeping on the pull-out couch, which had no sheets or pillows. I was told they were out of pillows and had to come downstairs to get the bedding. The hotel also wouldn't offer early check-in or a room change because I'd booked through Expedia, despite the place looking empty. I thought the listing said white sand beaches, but this hotel isn't by the beach. When I tried to cancel just three minutes after the 24-hour-before-arrival deadline, they refused repeatedly despite what I felt was misleading wording. I was stuck with the reservation, and the whole experience was deeply discouraging. I rarely say this, but I believe it warrants a full refund. So far, neither Expedia nor Comfort Inn has offered me any recourse.
