The one real plus was being close to the beaches, about 15 minutes away. The day-shift housekeeper from Jamaica was also very kind and helpful with our requests, though she seemed completely overwhelmed. The rest of the stay was a huge disappointment for $400 for three nights. I booked at the last minute for Memorial Day weekend, when there weren’t many reasonably priced options. I wish I’d booked somewhere else and paid a little more. The place was a dump, with dirt and broken things everywhere, from the parking lot through the lobby, halls, ice machines, and rooms. It felt like a glorified MOTEL. Our room was filthy, poorly cleaned, musty, and full of worn-out, dirty, or broken things, with hair all over the floors. They watched and tracked every towel we used or requested. The hallways were dirty and often loud, and the only elevator was dirty too. The lobby was usually dirty, and things in it were broken. Front desk staff were often away from the desk, and when present could be rude or blunt. Breakfast was awful and often ran out before the cutoff time. I’d never stay here again or recommend it. Shame on you Ramada. This place should be shut down.

This was the nastiest place I’ve ever seen, and the whole building smelled. The first room had a broken AC. The second one was awful too: it reeked of bug spray, had bed bugs, mold on the end tables, old food on the legs, and hair in the pillows. I was traveling alone. After showering, I saw how bad the room was and wanted to leave, but they refused to refund me. Nasty and dishonest!

The price was outrageous for what we got: $1,100 for the stay, then another $300 for a so-called resort fee. All that “resort” had was a cloudy hot tub and pool. The deck had cheap plastic chairs, the showers were gross, and the floors were so dirty that a used hand towel came away black when I mopped. There were roaches, too. We found the photos very misleading, and it was grubby and not worth the money. We’ll never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Staff were awful. We had to ask for bath towels and rags every day. One woman laughed and sent me to the laundry room; the next time I went there, they tried to ignore me at the door; then staff told me to go upstairs to the desk. I finally said firmly that I’d been told to come there and wanted the towels. Rooms were only cleaned on request, and then just once every three days. I wish I’d known to bring Lysol wipes and my own cleaning supplies. Days Inn down the road is much cleaner and better. We should have booked there like on our previous vacation.

They called before we arrived to say my booked room wasn’t available. For the same price, they said they could only offer a two-bedroom motel room, and the facility didn’t have kitchenettes at all. When we got there, the clerk again said the booking information was wrong, and they couldn’t change the reservation or refund us. We’d paid for one night in a two-bedroom kitchenette with two bathrooms; instead, we got two rooms, two bathrooms, and a small fridge. The lobby smelled strongly of body odor and seemed unclean. At check-in they told us about a refundable $50 deposit. The room door was rotting, and the balcony door stuck and came off its track a few times. Both bathrooms’ toilets leaked at the base after each flush. All the ice machines were broken, some were falling off the wall into the walkway, and water was standing in areas around the facility. The carpet was sticky with filth, there was dust and hair in room corners, and there was mold inside the AC. We asked for a refund so we could stay somewhere else, but were told it was nonrefundable. We complained and got nowhere. The place was disgusting and needs to be torn down. Nasty!

The location, right on the strip with an ocean view, was the only good thing. I chose this place because of the WYNDHAM name, but I’ve never stayed in a MOTEL like it. For the RESORT price I paid, I could have stayed next door at the Radisson. The place looked old and moldy, and when I tried to switch from the motel to the hotel, it felt like they were all in it together. Customer service was awful, and staff acted like they didn’t care I was there. When I asked for towels, I got cheap, mismatched, small bath towels. The tub was clogged the whole stay, the rug smelled of mildew, and there was no iron or ironing board. When I asked for one, she looked at me as if I was asking too much. The back of the motel was completely dark at night. It wasn’t worth the money. I couldn’t upload the pictures, but trust me, DO NOT STAY HERE.
