Top of the Gulf by Royal American Beach Getaways

The rental company was amazing, and I'd absolutely rent through them again. But the Boardwalk was not a relaxing or kid-friendly place for us. Pool staff blew whistles at kids for acting like kids, and children under 12 had to get out of the water for 10 minutes every hour. Toys, including dive toys, weren't allowed. Guards also told a 10-year-old her regular bikini was inappropriate, which upset her mom. I saw several parents arguing with the guards. I'd never before seen children told what they could wear at a pool. The money spent on those rude guards would be better used maintaining the grounds. The handicap ramp was closed for most of our stay, which made it very difficult to get a wheelchair around. We had a child with a disability in our group, and I believe closing the ramp may be a federal violation. I wouldn't stay at the Boardwalk again or recommend it to families with children. I don't like people yelling at my grandkids for being kids.

We had a great time at the Boardwalk and will definitely return. The condo was clean and very nice, with an amazing view. Each night, live music played at the beach bar and grill, and we could listen from the balcony along with the sound of the waves. No complaints here.

This was our second stay at Southern Breeze House, and we loved being there. The house was amazing, and even the dogs had a great time. Michael and Colleen were so hospitable, we're grateful for the lovely visit. The rental company could use some work.

We stayed at Boardwalk Condominium through Royal American Beach Getaways, reservation #84655 for C2107, and it was the worst condo I've ever been in. I usually don't complain openly, but I promised them I would, loudly. The walls were stained and badly needed paint. There was what looked like black mold around the air vents. The refrigerator was in awful shape, with rust down the freezer door, and its icemaker didn't work. I wouldn't have paid $25 for it at a yard sale. After I emailed and called the "help" desk several times, they said "management" would call, but also said we should have reported everything during our stay so they could fix it. No one from "management" ever called. I wouldn't have wanted a paint crew in the condo during my vacation, and I doubt they could have delivered a fridge while we were there anyway. I only asked for some consideration because the room wasn't worth even half of what we were charged. I'd stay home and do yard work before using this bunch again. If you're looking for a condo in Panama City beach, don't choose Royal American Beach Getaways.
