Tropic Winds by Book That Condo

I booked through Home Away from Sea and Sand Beach Rentals, and working with Carol Ann Johnson was a really pleasant experience. She sent our arrival instructions herself. When we emailed about some damage before our stay, she brought over light bulbs and left them and her card just inside the door, respecting our privacy. The pictures of the unit were accurate. It's our last night, and none of us seem ready to leave. The resort was decent, with a good location, a small but clean pool and hot tub, two charcoal grills and two gas grills, plus a grassy area for pets. There's a sign saying no children under 12 in the hot tub, but staff would make kids leave regardless of age. That may suit some people, though I thought it was a bit petty. They also don't allow balls in the pool, which seemed odd.

The view was great and the rooms were really nice, but parking was a nightmare. They also charge $4 per bag for ice in the building.

I stayed in 1806. It was beautiful and roomy, with a huge, amazing patio. Carol, the owner, is a sweetheart!

The condo is right on the beach and close to lots of great places. It's big throughout, including the bedrooms, and the huge balcony is nicely furnished. We couldn't get the dishwasher to work, but that wasn't a big deal, so I washed the dishes. Parking took a little getting used to. I'd highly recommend this condo.
