We found this place on the way to a dolphin tour and were amazed it turned out to be such a good place to stay. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the air was cold, and the staff were nice. I’d definitely stay again. Thanks, PAULA. This was an unexpected trip to panama city on a holiday weekend, so everything was expensive and booked up.

A good option for an unexpected stay, and one of the best deals in Panama City. The room was clean and comfortable, though it’s stripped down to the basics. The TV picture wasn’t very clear, and I wished the AC got colder.

I was there for one day with my family. I wasn’t the one paying, so I couldn’t do much, but I can say it was a bit atrocious. I’m just reporting what I saw, since I wasn’t really doing all the work. The floors were so dirty that I started playing the floor is lava. I like going barefoot at home, but after a few minutes here the whole bottom of my foot turned black. The first room they suggested had ants, hair on the bed, and pillow insides that looked like pee. In our room, the shower door wouldn’t close and there was a weird blue goop stain in the shower. The water felt nice after a tiring day at the water park, but we ran into a lot of problems. I saw bugs and a small, cute spider crawling through the TV. I didn’t really care, but my sister did. When she saw a small bug that looked like a cockroach, she started taking mental notes about the place. The fridge still had the last guest’s food, like the cleaning crew had forgotten it. The woman at the front looked completely over it and didn’t seem happy. She gave us some attitude when my family asked for a different room.

My friends, family, and I have stayed at this hotel for years. It’s always clean and cold, and the staff are amazing. I’ve arrived in the middle of the night or early in the morning, and they welcome me with open arms. I’ve never written a review before, but today, 5/30, I am. I never stay anywhere else in panama city. Thanks Hathaway inn. Deedee
