Red Canyon Village

The camper cabin was well appointed for the price, and the staff were welcoming and helpful when we checked in on July 4th without a reservation. We got advice on the best available options. It had standard coil mattresses with bedding provided, plus a mini fridge and microwave. A propane heater was built into the wall, which was great since it gets quite cool at night even in summer. It was a perfect break between tent camping stops. The bathrooms were older but cared for. My husband thought he'd accidentally walked into the women's bathroom because the men's was so clean. The location was handy for Bryce and Dixie National Forest, with plenty of meal options nearby. We'd definitely stay again.

The photos make it look better cared for than it is. The sites are cramped, and being right beside the highway means it's extremely noisy. The location really isn't good.

The view was nice, and it's a handy spot for day trips to both Zion and Bryce Canyon. The campground is mostly gravel, though, and the Wi-Fi was rough. Bathrooms could use some work, and being so close to the highway meant a fair amount of road noise.

We stayed one night in a rented RV in 2019, and I'd come back. The campsite was tidy, our spot had a nice table, and the service was kind and helpful. We were there at the end of October and it got pretty cold, down to 3.2°F/-16°C overnight. The staff helped us get through the freezing temperatures in our rental 😅🙏🏻.
