Gulf American Inns

The room was surprisingly clean, especially the floor, and even cleaner than our Holiday Inn Express in Valdosta Ga. I was happy to see the same kind of blankets we had there, with a nicer headboard too. The store next door looked terrible, but the grounds were kept up, nobody was hanging around outside, and it was really quiet all night. For a one-night stop while passing through, I'd stay again. Great job, NEW MANAGEMENT.

The outside doesn't give you much sense of how nice it is inside. We found a big, very clean room, a comfortable bed, and welcoming staff who did what they could to help. It was much better than I expected, and the prices are absolutely affordable. I look forward to coming back 😊

I hadn't stayed here in years, and I'm glad I came back. The staff are extremely friendly, and it feels safe and quiet. The renovated rooms are comfortable too. The brick exterior may leave you with the wrong impression, though there's only so much you can do to change how brick looks. The price is fair and affordable, and I'd absolutely stay again when I'm in the area. I recommend Gulf American Inns for individuals and families.

The staff really care about the place and keep working to improve the rooms. Housekeeping does a great job, and the rooms are very clean. The big king beds are soft and comfortable, and if something goes wrong, the staff will fix it. Weekends get busy, so book early. The highway nearby can make traffic noise, and the area is a little sketchy, but people generally leave you alone if you keep to yourself. I've learned to ignore people asking for food or money. If you're on a budget or in transition, this is a good place to spend your money. It's the cleanest hotel around here, though not for someone expecting five-star treatment or fussing over every little thing.
