ARIA Sky Suites

I paid $800 for the Sky Suites upgrade because I wanted early access to my room and an easier check-in. Instead, I waited almost five hours, and the room wasn't ready until 5 p.m. That defeated the point of paying extra. The room was fine, but nothing justified the price or hassle. The check-in felt no different from standard service despite the upgrade. Staff were polite, but dismissive and unhelpful, with no real solution or compensation. Communication was poor, and I had to keep asking for updates. For that cost, I expected priority service and a smooth experience. This was frustrating and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend upgrading or stay here again after the way it was handled.

Check-in and checkout were quick and friendly, and the suite came with a free limo transfer from the airport. We had a two bedroom suite that was spacious, clean, comfortable, and really well appointed. The shower's steam room setting was super cool. The lounge on the lobby level had tasty coffee and nonalcoholic drinks all day, with free wine from 4 to 9 p.m. There were usually tasty snacks available too. A wonderful hotel.

Over our three night stay, the room had several problems and wasn't in great condition. The bathroom's glass doors wouldn't close all the way, the motorized retractable curtain was broken and needed repair, and the mattresses were very worn with dips in them. The TV had fewer channels than my grandma's. At a high end resort, who has a non smart TV? We'd already paid in full for a King, but the room was given to someone else and we ended up with a Queen instead, in a room I found less desirable. Drinks in the minibar had already been opened, which led to confusion and frustration with the front desk over the charges. For the price, it wasn't worth dealing with these issues.

This was our third year in a row staying here for our holiday party, and several people had their credit card information stolen this year. Their purses stayed in the room, but somehow there were multiple charges from different places in Las Vegas. I'm never staying here again.
