Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

The casino was okay, though it got pretty smoky at times, and the room itself was acceptable with a great bed. The lobby had just been unveiled while we were there, so it looks like they’re trying to improve the place. But the bathroom needs an update, and our service was poor. The hotel seemed fairly empty when we arrived on Wednesday, yet we were told there’d be a fee to get into our room before 3:30. On the first day the shower dispenser was empty, and the room phone didn’t work right. I had to queue up to ask for body wash. Later we came back to plenty of extra towels, but still no body wash. It was cheaper than other Strip hotels, but I wouldn’t book it again.

The Strip view and location made it easy to walk around without needing an Uber, and we especially enjoyed the restaurant strip between the Flamingo and the Linq. We stayed in a Habitat Room 1 King, Strip View, at the Flamingo and had a wonderful time. Our room wasn’t ready the first night, so they placed us in a similar one and gave us a $50 food and beverage credit. By 11 am the next day our assigned room was available, and we loved it. Both rooms were clean and updated. We’d definitely choose the Flamingo again on our next Vegas trip.

The location was prime, and we’d happily stay here again. Our clean Habitat Tower room had an attraction view, and from the 9th floor we got a great look out. Water pressure was amazing, too. They held our luggage while we went to lunch before check-in, and using the kiosks to check in was quick and easy.

I got an unexpected upgrade, and the room was clean and fresh, with a lovely view. It also had a coffee maker and fridge, which I hadn’t expected. Getting around the facility was easy, and the door out to the Promenade opens onto hours of entertainment and plenty to do. I arrived early Thursday afternoon and parking in the dedicated garage was easy. The self check-in kiosk worked well, probably because I was the only person there and didn’t feel rushed. The one snag came at the garage exit: after paying at a kiosk, I kept the exit card, but the gate wouldn’t accept it. I pressed the attendant call button and they opened it, so it wasn’t a big problem. I hope others get to enjoy the new pools, which were closed during my April 2025 visit.
