The Platinum Hotel

Free parking and a quiet, safe garage were a plus, and I liked being away from the Strip while still having an easy walk to the Sphere, Bellagio, and Flamingo. Target, shops, fast food, and a Lawry's restaurant are a couple miles down the road, with Lawry's a block away. I’m not hung up on staying on the Strip and paying extra to park, so the location worked well for me. It’s a quiet place with a nice view, including a view north toward the Sphere at the end of each east-side hallway. The hotel is about 20 years old, so there’s visible wear and some things don’t work as they should. Many suites have a washer and dryer, and a fireplace that wasn’t working. The huge tub filled and heated quickly, but the shower took ages to warm up. They fixed that while I was out. Lindsay handled my booking and was super.

The staff made this first Las Vegas trip especially pleasant. Shania at the front desk was very accommodating. We had two meals in the lounge, where Andrew was kind and attentive, and the food and drinks he made were delicious. Breakfast at the 5th floor restaurant was great too, with polite and attentive service from Justis. We stayed just off The Strip at The Platinum Hotel and Spa, and the location worked perfectly since most of our destinations were walkable. The apartment-like rooms were clean and comfortable, with great views. Our late flight meant we had to wait after checking out at 11AM, and they stored our luggage until departure and let us hang out in the lounge. Highly recommended.

We had a quiet, comfortable stay in a very clean non-gaming hotel, with spacious accommodations and great staff. Our suite included a full kitchen. Some rooms look out over the Strip and The Sphere, especially pretty at night. The Sphere and the Strip are within walking distance, and getting to the airport was an easy ride. I highly recommend it.

I got married at the Platinum Hotel this past weekend, and I’m so happy with how our special day went that I get teary-eyed thinking about it. They went beyond what I expected, and I feel so lucky to have found them. The venue, dinner, room, vendors, cake, drinks, music, wedding planners, and THE STAFF were all part of it.
