Staybridge Suites: Las Vegas - Stadium District by IHG

The included breakfast was better than the usual hotel spread, with waffles, eggs, meat, pastries, and a soda fountain. The location is handy for nearby attractions without getting on the Strip, and you're close to the airport, about 7min away. There’s no shuttle, but parking was easy and felt secure. In-N-Out burger is next door. Check-in was easy and friendly. I asked for non feather pillows because of allergies, and they arrived quickly. The spacious King suite was comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen. It also had a patio facing the pool. Joshua was very kind and made the stay comfortable. The pool area is nice, though the pool was only lightly heated. The hot tub was nice.

Breakfast and the social hour were nice, and I liked having a balcony over the pool. A Strip view might be fun too. The shower took forever to heat up, so they should fix that. It would also help to rethink access from the parking area and through the hotel entrance, especially the front door. It stays locked, which makes it hard to have friends over.

I stayed in Vegas for 2 nights, and my mom came for one night while moving to Bullhead City, AZ with my brother. It's about 90 miles from Vegas. I like hotels with kitchens. This room had a washer/dryer hookup but no machines in the unit. There was a shared washer and dryer guests could use for free. I've seen a place in or near Irving, TX that has laundry in the unit. The stay was good overall, and the weather was nice. We sat on the balcony for a long time without bugs bothering us. I wanted to visit Arte Museum, but Mom was worn out from driving by herself from Kansas, and we had to get ready to leave for our next load. There were a couple of problems in the room: the garbage disposer didn't work, so the water backed up. I reported it to the front desk and expected someone to come fix it, but no one did. The freezer was broken too, and the frozen things I'd brought from the truck thawed. I'll call them back after Mom leaves. They also have a little social hour with appetizer sized food. When I went, there were sandwiches, soup, and salad. The breakfast was typical hotel food, and I didn't like it. I'd come back, but wouldn't recommend the breakfast.

Joshua at the concierge desk was kind, patient, professional, helpful, and considerate when I arrived late with two other guests. He carefully walked me through my booking details and even apologized for the inconvenience, though I felt I was the one taking up his time. I had been driving around to several Marriott hotels that night, and their desk staff had seemed cold and uninterested. I was headed to another Marriott I'd already booked online when I spotted the Staybridge nearby and decided to give it a try. I ended up staying here instead. The place was very clean, and the food was decent. The coffee was really fresh. I took off one star because the first room was missing a window cover, and I couldn't find where the handicap ramp started outside.
