Holiday Inn Express Paris

Holiday Inn Express is usually our go-to, but we won't return to this one. The hallway carpet was filthy and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in a while. We checked the room with a UV light and, let's just say, after that we sat on the bed and nowhere else. Breakfast was poor too. The machine-made pancakes were inedible.

The desk attendant kept looking at his phone and didn't even look up when I checked in. My room smelled like mildew and garbage, and the fridge had been left off with food still inside. The third and fourth floors stink throughout. I assume the second might too, but I didn't want to find out. Worst hotel stay I've ever had.

Coryn helped us book a last-minute stay and was incredibly helpful. The place was professional, clean, and, most importantly, safe. For this price, the accommodations are hard to beat.

The breakfast spread looked great, but I couldn't enjoy it because the lobby was unbearably cold. It seems housekeeping needs it that way for cleaning, but guests shouldn't need a jacket just to sit there. In room 222, there was shampoo or something caked on the shower wall, nasty to touch. I called housekeeping, and the woman wiped it with a cloth without using any cleaner. I went to my car for Dawn dish soap and cleaned it myself. About half of what she said was stained came off.
