The Caledonian by All Seasons Resort Lodging

The beds were surprisingly comfortable for a vacation rental, and the hot tub was big and well cared for. The unit is very spacious, with plenty of room for a family of four and maybe one more on the couch, or two or three on sleeping bags, though that wouldn’t be very comfortable. You’re right in the heart of park city, next to the town lift, so I expected to pay a premium for the location. The owners should put more attention into maintenance, though. The dishwasher is rusted, the kitchen utensils are poor, there isn’t a knife that can cut butter, and there’s no sponge. The faucet, bathroom fixtures, lights, and other fittings feel cheap and plasticky. I didn’t expect luxury appliances, but something above builder grade would have been nice. There were no instructions for the hot tub, TV, or fireplace. They weren’t hard to figure out, but the lack of information felt impersonal. It’s a mixed bag. We’d probably stay again, though we might look around first.

The location is hard to beat, close to the town lift, restaurants, and ski rentals. Six people fit comfortably, with everyone getting a bed, though two beds were sofa beds. The balcony hot tub was a plus, but the water turned cloudy after the first use, so it doesn’t filter very well. Service was mostly limited to online booking and answers to a few questions. They did hold our luggage before check-in and let us into the unit early. We could have used more blankets for the sofa bed, especially downstairs.

We were in town for the Rotary Club's Shot Ski charitable event on Main Street, and the condo at The Caledonian was perfectly placed for it. The price was reasonable, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The condo was clean and had lots of amenities that made our stay comfortable. All Seasons Resort Lodging communicated very well before, during, and after our visit. I highly recommend the property and look forward to coming back.

The reservation desk was helpful whenever we called, and our two-bedroom condo was roomy, nicely furnished, and right on Main Street. We had great views from every window. Some patio furniture would have made it possible to sit outside on the decks, but all in all it was a great condo in a beautiful spot.
