Marriott Park Ridge

The gym was clean and well equipped, and our room was spacious and clean too. We stayed a few nights during the festive season, and the front desk staff were warm and friendly. The location was great for keeping noise down, since it's not right by a highway. I heard little to no traffic noise during my stay.

Becca was the reason this gets five stars. She was cheerful, friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. You could tell she enjoys her work, and her customer service was top notch. The room, though, had huge water stains across the ceiling and a hole about the size of a dinner plate in the popcorn finish. I was also bummed there was no room service. They're undergoing renovations now, so I expect some aesthetic changes soon.

The pool area and gym were very nice, and the rooms were fine, though they seemed a little outdated. I was there for a local wedding, but construction made it a maze to find the pub on site. It also didn't open until 4 on a Saturday, so there was no pregame. For the price, I'd probably choose somewhere else if I were in the area again.

The shuttle took me to and picked me up from the BMW training facility, and the location is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were clean and updated, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. I enjoyed the food at both the Continental breakfast and the on-site bar. What a wonderful hotel, I'll definitely stay here again!
