Courtyard By Marriott Lafayette South

Erin made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She was warm, professional, and genuinely kind, and her attention to detail and readiness to help made us feel like more than just guests. Service like hers is rare, and it made all the difference. We hope to see her next time. The Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette South was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed and blankets were so comfortable that we slept very well. We tend to get hot in hotel rooms, but the air conditioning kept ours perfectly cool all night. We'll absolutely be back.

The location is convenient, with food and retail stores nearby, but the rooms were gross when we checked in. I asked to move, and the replacement was in basically the same condition. Hair and grime were on the bathroom floor and in the shower, with mold on the ceiling. There was no bathroom fan, and the soap bottles and shower foot rest had mold and soap scum. The gym had no sanitizing wipes, and the lobby bathroom was out of paper towels. This hotel clearly isn't being maintained. I wouldn't recommend it. Cleanliness is subpar, and the staff don't seem to care.

The location is nice and the rooms are large, but maintenance and cleanliness are lacking. The bathroom was dirty, the tub looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and there was mold, mildew, and a filthy shower curtain. The glass in the closet door and the drapes were broken. There was even animal feces in the lobby. Marriott needs to step it up. We're platinum elite, and I expected more. The place was disgusting.

We keep coming back to this hotel when traveling for work or pleasure because the rooms are clean, modern, and new. There's also a good number of restaurants and stores nearby.
