Residence Inn Annapolis

I paid in advance for a 12-night stay. It was mostly good, though the garbage disposal was broken until they fixed it, and the phone didn't work for the first week. After checkout, they charged me $53.71 without explaining why. When I called, I was told it was for parking. I said nobody had told me about a parking fee, and the guy replied that it was listed on the website, then hung up. I won't stay there again, and I'll tell people not to stay there either.

The rooms were clean and nice, and breakfast was included, though it was just okay. The plumbing was a problem: the sink only had scalding hot water. Parking was another issue. If you return around 10pm, you may not find a space, and they charge for parking without telling you clearly.

Sonesta became our home on the road for a Lions convention after snow forced us out of the place we had arranged. They took us in at the last minute with both professional and personal hospitality. Five stars to Mike, La Vonne, Maria, and Don. We'll make this our home on the road again.

I'm a local whose home burned, and it breaks my heart how the staff, especially House Keeping, have treated me. The rooms were filthy, and the staff were rude and disrespectful. I grew up here, since 1971, and was the first Estrada in Annapolis. I feel like I haven't been treated with respect in my own hometown. Shame on you, Sonata Suites Annapolis. SMH 😔🏡
