Breakfast was exquisite. Madeline, the chef, made five-star meals each morning, with servings bigger than I could finish. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, Rebecca was a sweetheart, and Meri, the owner, was happy to do what she could to make the stay perfect. The room was ready with welcome gifts: local travel guides, bottled water, mints, and a tin of cookies. It was well appointed, with antiques and family heirlooms, a private bath, TV, free WiFi, and its own AC unit. The individual heat unit was in the closet. There’s a nice sitting porch, a back veranda with a covered dining area, a large lawn, and a sitting room where you can relax. The B&B welcomes pets and is in a safe neighborhood for walking. It’s an easy walk to quaint downtown Parowan, a historic area that’s easy to explore, and the freeway is close by. I used it as a base for trips to Bryce Canyon and Zion. Both were a bit of a drive, but it was nice not having to change hotels so often, and the stay was well worth it. Don’t pass this place up.

A lovely spot for a relaxing getaway. I had an amazing stay, and the breakfasts were so good. They really aim to please.

A few weeks ago I stayed at Lizzie’s, and yesterday I went on the Haunted Inn tour. Both experiences were amazing. The room was bigger than I expected, with super-soft bedding and a fully stocked coffee and tea bar. Jenn gave us great suggestions for dinner and things to do around town, and breakfast was delicious. Meeting Meri during the tour was lovely too, she was so kind. We had a blast at Lizzie’s and can’t wait to come back.

Jenn’s hospitality was above and beyond. She was so sweet with our weiner dogs and even moved us to a room where we could take them outside. She makes you feel at home and is a good cook, too. This was hands down the best Bed and Breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed our visit so much that I haven’t stopped raving about it. I can see a girls’ vacation coming soon. If you’re thinking about going, just book it. You won’t regret it.

Every time I stay at Lizzie’s, I love it more. The home has kept its vintage feel, which makes for a fun, unique visit, and even with a full house the atmosphere was welcoming. The beds and bedding are so comfortable, the food is amazing, and the staff are always friendly. They welcome dogs, which is hard to find these days, but the rooms stay so clean you’d never know a dog had been there. Highly recommend!
