Ace Motel

I’ve been here a full month and would move in for good if I could. Nick and Ana are always considerate and kind, even when my work hours are odd and I come back in the middle of the night. It’s a quaint place, within walking distance of pretty much everything on downtown Colorado Blvd. Their kid is adorable and well behaved. Come check it out!

The room was a great deal and a happy surprise. Inside, it was spacious, with hardwood floors, LED lights above the king bed, and a roomy bathroom. The outside of the motel didn’t look like much, but I was glad I stayed. I’d missed my bus back to Vegas and needed somewhere to sleep for the night. The front desk staff were really friendly, and the guy there said he’d find me the best room. He brought me extra towels too, which made me feel even more welcome. Target’s shopping center is across the street, and the metro Transit isn’t far away. I’d stay at the ace motel again next time I’m in Pasadena. Five stars, thank you! 🥰😊

A clean little spot to sleep before heading on your way the next day. That cleanliness is what made me come back. Check-in and checkout are both at 11 a.m. If you really need to arrive earlier, ask, as they may be able to make it work.

There were cars outside my room every day playing loud music, the kind that makes your neighbor’s Nissan Altima trunk rattle. Inside, the room smelled like cigarettes, and the peephole was taped over because it was just a hole. The comforter had bleach marks and cigarette burns, the mattress was lumpy, and the toilet paper was the thinnest I’ve ever seen. Wi-Fi was so weak it was useless. Shower pressure was poor, and I couldn’t get hot water.
