Super 8 Pascagoula

We weren’t comfortable here, and the whole stay was a mess. The restroom was super grimy, and the manager had the nastiest attitude. He also lied about how I could get my deposit back, telling me to call a number that wasn’t right. His employee was walking around without shoes. This one star is entirely for the manager of this location. He should want every customer to be happy and comfortable, but we weren’t. I’ve never stayed at a Super 8 before and don’t expect to try any of their other hotels. Since this hotel is by Wyndham, I’m going to stay away from them because of the manager’s distasteful attitude. Job well done, not at all.

I slept well on the comfy bed, and the quick, easy check-in was a plus. The halls are indoors, the floors are laminate, and the ceiling is super high and vaulted. My room had a full fridge and a range. It’s a great stay for the price if you’re okay driving a couple miles off the interstate.

My original hotel was overbooked, so I had to make an emergency stop here. It turned out to be a great choice, especially since the price didn’t change much, and I really enjoyed my stay. The lobby, front area, halls, and rear exit all looked clean and very secure. The front desk hostess was exceptional. I’d definitely consider this location again. 😀

If you’ve seen the bad reviews, they held back. Service was the worst, the rooms were hot, and the wifi is a joke. Everything is bare minimum, and heaven forbid you ask for an extra coffee when they leave only one in your room. If you smoke weed, you’ll feel right at home because that’s all you can smell. I’m positive they’ve used the same rag to "clean" every room for decades without washing it. The boxes in the lobby that the guy mentioned in his review two months ago are still there. There’s also a car with no rims or tires sitting on the ground, apparently for at least a year. It really adds to the ambiance. A hurricane would improve this place. AVOID!
