For a cheap extended stay, it’s about what you’d expect. The rooms need maintenance and weren’t very clean, so bring your own bedding and towels. Staff were helpful and moved us after a few room problems. Nights were quiet, and we had no trouble with other guests.

Once you’ve found the motel, you’ll remember it, though its wraparound driveway makes it hard to spot from the road at night. The staff were nice and offered a long-stay deal. I still thought it was a little overpriced, but not too bad. Bathrooms are surprisingly roomy, with large stand-up showers, and we got plenty of towels. Rooms are small, with no microwave, though there are microwaves in the office as well as washers and dryers. There’s free coffee in the morning, and vending machines could be restocked more often. The rooms are nonsmoking but allow pets for an extra fee. Given the crime around the area, I wouldn’t really go outside alone at night, but the motel is okay.

The staff, including the cleaning crew, are friendly and in good spirits. The central AC is awful, though. The vent points at the door, so don’t expect a good night’s sleep. I’d get a fan and run it on high. Otherwise, it’s like any other underfunded budget motel. Good staff, not so good owners.

I left as soon as I saw the room, so I didn’t stay long enough to take photos. The carpet was stained, matted, and disgusting, the curtain was barely attached and didn’t cover the window, and the window itself barely stayed shut and had no lock. The smoke detector hung from the ceiling without a battery. Honestly, the parking lot seemed cleaner. Definitely don’t recommend.
