The rooms feel cozy, and the beds are comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the spot is very close to highways 101 and 46. The outside decor is quirky, but I loved the hot tub and the little putt-putt course by the pool.

We come back to this little inn every year for the Holiday lighting ceremony in downtown Paso Robles. It’s a great fit for a short stay: the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It isn’t especially fancy, though places in Paso cost a lot more during this time of year if you want something fancy. They decorate the inn with tons of lights, and seeing it lit up at night always makes us smile.

I had no complaints at all. This feels like a resort that takes real pride in itself, not just a motel room, and even the soap feels special. The room has an air of self-respect, if that makes sense. I came away feeling better about myself after spending the night here. Sometimes it’s about that feeling, not just the money. At least, that was true for me. Really, don’t bother trying to save money somewhere else.

The grounds are beautiful, especially the pool and garden. Our room was small but comfortable, with a good hotel TV and comfy beds. The showers were FANTASTIC. Reception was incredibly polite, and even though we arrived late at night, they gave us homemade cookies when we came in.

I’ve been staying here for the better part of a decade whenever I visit Paso Robles. It’s quiet at night and close to everything you need, with a perfect location just off the 101. The staff are efficient and wonderful, and the rooms are always clean. This is my go-to place.
