Holiday Inn Express & Suites Paso Robles by IHG

The dining hall is spacious and has a big-screen TV, so you can watch sports or bring back lunch or dinner and eat there. Guests can help themselves to coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, and the coffee is good, even the decaf had plenty of flavor. Service was excellent and the staff were friendly.

The rooms have been newly renovated and there’s breakfast available, along with an indoor pool and other amenities. Staff were wonderful. It’s easy to get around Paso Robles from here, and the location works well if you’re heading to any of the area’s great vineyards or other destinations.

The coffee was a standout: the newer machines grind beans fresh for each cup, and it was the best hotel coffee we’ve had. Breakfast was excellent too, with lots of choices and great quality, and the large, clean pool was a perfect temperature for our kids. We came as a family of four with two small children and ended up extending our stay. The beds were comfortable, heating and AC worked perfectly, elevators were quick, and the hotel was clean and well kept. Staff were welcoming and made us feel looked after. The price was a small fraction of an Airbnb, so the value was outstanding. We’d absolutely return and recommend Holiday Inn Express Paso Robles to families and other travelers.

The rooms are big and super clean, with a small kitchen, though it doesn’t have a stove. A little stove would help, especially for people traveling for work. Breakfast was okay, and the ladies serving it were super nice. The front desk woman was helpful and friendly too. Laundry is $2 to wash and dry, which isn’t bad, but weekly guests shouldn’t have to pay. A chair in the laundry room would be useful while waiting.
