Finding bed bugs in both rooms was the last straw. We were told there were no other rooms “without bugs.” Staff carried sheets out of a room, and nearly 30 minutes passed before they tried to find us a room with “no bugs.” They couldn’t find one, so we said we’d go to another hotel. They never offered us a different room, and changing sheets doesn’t fix bugs in the mattresses. No one seemed concerned or understanding. I’ve stayed here several times for work because the location is convenient. Last year, we had to leave on both of our stays because of bed bugs or cockroaches. We came back this year hoping that had been sorted out. The rooms looked cleaner at first, but there was a strong chemical smell. One first-floor room had an air purifier running; the fourth-floor room didn’t, and the odor was still very noticeable. It’s disappointing, since we liked the location, but we’ll take our business elsewhere.

Don’t let the clean, sleek, new-looking exterior and front desk area fool you. The hotel has bed bugs and Texas-sized cockroaches, and it doesn’t have enough room keys, so staff have to walk you to your room. Asking for a clean towel gets you stern looks. Somehow, it’s worse now than it’s ever been.

Breakfast was disappointing. Most of the food arrived cold and was still raw. The rooms were clean, but there were only two towels and washcloths. Front desk service wasn’t great either. My husband said something nice about the hotel, and the woman there just shrugged like, whatever.

The room was in awful shape. The shower was dirty, and the bathroom cabinet door fell onto my feet. It’s unsafe, and it doesn’t even cover the pipes properly. They kicked me out of my room twice, then, when I complained, told me it would be ready the next day. Why should guests have to put up with being kicked out twice? This hotel is terrible.

I went on Saturday, October 11th, and accepted the extra $30 charge for checking in at 1pm. Then I checked my bank account and saw three transactions for the room. The bathroom is horrible, and its door fell on my feet. There isn’t even a bathroom cabinet, just a door. The woman at the front desk doesn’t know how to do her job. Horrible hotel, and the treatment was even worse.
