The staff were nice, though we only dealt with two people, at check-in and check-out. We arrived late and left early, so we didn't ask for new bedding, but a room ready to book shouldn't have been in this condition. I booked the accessible room for my fiance. There were dark carpet stains, someone else's hair all over the shower walls, and the sheets, blankets, and pillowcases all felt slightly damp, like they'd been taken from a dryer before finishing and left in a pile overnight. It made for a very unsatisfying stay. The room also seemed poorly insulated: within two minutes of the air conditioner switching off, it warmed up to the outside temperature. I hope our experience was an outlier, since I see other guests enjoyed their stays.

The room was small and dark, and while the bathrooms were clean, they looked dated. The setup wasn't ideal, though the staff were friendly and very helpful. It seems like a family-owned business. If you want a smoke-free stay, the room itself may be smoke-free, but the air outside isn't; in some spots, smoking rooms are right beside non-smoking ones. Breakfast was good, but served in a tiny room. Overall, I felt the stay matched the price to some extent.

Breakfast was minimal, and the rooms looked dated, though aside from the carpet they were clean. We had Room 115 over Memorial Day Weekend, when the hotel was sold out because of several high school graduations. On Friday afternoon the room smelled horrible, like feces, vomit, and mold, concentrated around the carpet. There were no other rooms available, so we had to stay. I complained again Saturday morning before we left for the day. When we came back that evening, the smell had improved, and I think someone tried cleaning while we were out. By Monday checkout it was coming back. I raised it with management a third time and was thanked for letting them know, but no refund or discount was offered.

The staff were very friendly, though housekeeping seemed short-staffed. I was grossed out by how dirty the carpet was. I walked around barefoot and my feet looked like I'd been walking in a parking lot. For a cheaper room, the rest was about what I'd expect, but I don't expect floors that filthy, even at a lower-end hotel. I don't think I'll stay at a Days Inn again or recommend one.
