Microtel Inn & Suites Pearl River/slidell

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and when we reported a clogged shower and broken fridge in our first room, they moved us right away and apologized. The next morning, maintenance was working on that room, which was reassuring. The replacement room was better, though the mirror and couch had stains and could have been cleaned more carefully. Breakfast was limited, and the area is small, but the woman managing it was pleasant and kept things organized. The rooms could use upgrades and closer attention to upkeep. For our two-day stay it was decent, but there are clearly things the hotel could improve.

The room was really nice, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was great. Regina was wonderful, Nikki was so sweet, and Julie, the head housekeeper, was super friendly. I'll definitely come back.

We stayed one night with family on a road trip, and the room and bathroom were very well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and there was no dampness or extra moisture. I also liked that there was no carpet, which made the room feel cleaner. It was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in, and reasonably priced. The blackout curtains let in quite a bit of light at the top and bottom, so it wasn't dark enough for me to sleep comfortably. My husband and daughter slept fine, though. If you're sensitive to light, I'd bring a sleep mask. The staff were all friendly, and the woman serving breakfast was kind and helpful to every guest. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

The lobby smelled of smoke as soon as I arrived to check in. I had a non-smoking room, but woke in the middle of the night to a very strong cigarette smell. Running the bathroom fan and AC didn't clear it, and all my clothes ended up smelling like cigarettes. The staff were very friendly.
